The One With the New Backyard ~ Tacoma Child Photographer

Hi there, blog-friends!  You may have wondered where I've been for the past month and a half...

Well, on a personal note, we bought our first house, and moved, and celebrated our son's birthday, and hosted a big party, and had parents from out of town come and stay for a week.  Twice.

Thankfully, that doesn't mean I didn't take any pictures.  That would be pretty much impossible, especially with the amazing, photo-shoot-ready yard we now have.  So here is a sampling of the mini-session I did for Enora in honor of her being 7 months old.  (I know, I know- but I will take any excuse to do a photo shoot. I have a sickness, and it's called "I'm a mom and a photographer at the same time.")

"Who?  Me??"

As is often the case, I really like this non-smiling shot of her.

Yes,  I let her eat some grass for the sake of the photo, but then I did sweep it out of her mouth afterward.  That redeems it, right?

Enora learning about apple blossoms.  This one might just be an all-time favorite.

I hope you liked those, because you'll be seeing more of that beautiful yard in the months and years to come!  And stay tuned later this week for shots from the Mother's Day session I did for my very own Mom during her first visit to our new house!
