Another Cutie for the Coutures ~ Tacoma Family Photographer

For those of you who have been following my blog for even a few months, you will probably recognize this adorable family.  My last shoot for them was a combination maternity/ family shoot, and it was (as I expected) totally beautiful.  In fact, the only thing better than photographing their anticipation for their little bundle of boy would be photographing their family with said boy right in the middle of all the love!

Well, lucky for me, I had that opportunity earlier this summer.  That was when James first caught the adoring attention of my camera.  And now, whenever I see this little guy, I find myself saying gushy-type things like, "Oh, he is such a handsome little man!"  "No, seriously, he is SO cute- I would know; I meet lots of babies!"

One of my favorite aspects of this shoot was seeing how their two daughters interacted with (and sometimes smothered) their bewildered and easy-going little brother.  But he was cool as a cucumber- taking (almost) all the hugs and kisses they dished out, and only shooting his Mama the occasional panicked glance.  It's clear that this having-a-little-boy-in-the-house arrangement is definitely going to work out.  ;)  Scroll down and see some highlights from this very fun shoot!

Unlike most of my family shoots, we did this session indoors.  It involved a little more set-up, but the result was casual and relaxed- which I love!

Laughs always make the best smiles!

This might be my favorite from this session.  So simple, so intimate.  I love it!

Mmmm... yummy hand....  ;)

Oh my goodness, what's not to love about this face??

I don't know why, but this one reads as all-american good-kid to me.  Like he's taking his senior portraits early.  :)

Who knew a blue octopus could be such a cute photo-friend?

Father and son.  Always a good combination!

Another sweet mother-son moment.  Something tells me this little guy isn't going to want for love!

Well, there you have it!  You've now seen a totally adorable baby boy, along with his adoring family, and hopefully they've given you that boost you needed to go about your day!  Stay tuned for more blog posts coming up soon!
